About
As one of Graal Online's oldest playerworlds, Delteria is home to a long and rich history. While on Delteria, you'll find yourself entertained by its exciting events, helpful staff team, and thriving guild community. From events that require staff to assist to those for just you and your friends to play, from Spar tournaments to Events Tournaments, Delteria has it all. We feature classic gameplay, and is easily accessible to new players.
New Developments
Delteria is currently in the process of developing a new overworld and rescripting the majority of the server. Most of the server's systems are currently being redone, as well as many new features added.

Hosted Events
One of the main things to do on Delteria is participate in events and tournaments. Delteria currently has 13 events, some of which are the same with slight differences (such as theme).
Opposed to Hosted Events -- Server Events are Events that can happen anywhere on the server.

Zombie Invasions
* Hosted by most staff!
** Objective: You must locate the Zombie-Staff member and kill it! The person who lands the finishing blow will receive rewards.

Hide And Seek
* Hosted by high staff!
** Objective: You must locate the hidden Staff member and say 'found!' to win. You will be given several hints during the course of the event, as the Staff member can be hidden anywhere in the game.

World Bosses
* Hosted by the Events Team Admin and high staff on special occasions!
** Objective: You must enter the given arena. The ETA will then spawn several bosses for you to battle. You will get rewards based on the amount of bosses you kill in a certain time period.

Staff
This is only the higher-up staff, staff members in italics are considered server administrators.

The server options are a collection of key=value configuration options that allow you to customize the non-scriptable behaviour of an individual Playerworld.

Usage
Options are usually set only by high Playerworld staff, preferably only the Playerworld owner, as they are very powerful and can be abused easily.

When you omit an option, its value will not be changed if the option has been used before. Therefore, it is more secure to change only the value and not whole option, should you need to change something.

Lines beginning with # are not parsed, and can be used for comments.

A full list of server options commands can be found here.

Known Server Options
Please add new options if you discover them.

Start location
startlevel=level name
startx=number
starty=number

This sets the originating location for all Players which do not have location statistics of their own saved locally.

Unstick me location
unstickmelevel=level name
unstickmex=number
unstickmey=number

These define the position that a Player is warped to after using the Unstick me command.

Unstick Time
unstickmetime=number

This option sets the amount of time a player has to be idle before they can use the unstick me command.

Protected Weapons
protectedweapons=list of comma seperated weapon names

NPC weapons that cannot be deleted by the Player. This differs from weapons with asterisk prefixed name which cannot be deleted with the Del key, but still can be deleted on the Clientside using the destroy command. `Protected' weapons can (unless *ified) be deleted with Del, but the NPC server will not remove them from the player's weapon list and thus the Serverside part will remain and the player obtains them again on the next connect.

Jail Levels
jaillevels=level names comma separated

Non-staff players in these levels will not be able to leave them. A Serverside setlevel2 or warping with RC is neccessary. Also, they can send PMs only to RC clients and not regular Clients.
, ,

Explosion Restriction
noexplosions=true/false

Disables the result of putexplosion, and `explosive' NPC weapons.

Statistic Restriction
setbodyallowed=true/false
setheadallowed=true/false
setbomyallowed=true/false
setswordallowed=true/false
setshieldallowed=true/false

Whether the chat commands to change the player's appearance are enabled. Defaults to true.

Gralat Loss Options
mindeathgralats=number
maxdeathgralats=number

Defines the amount of Gralats that the player drops on death.

Staff Gralat Restriction
normaladminscanchangegralats=true/false

Whether normal RCs can change the gralat count of a player. `Normal' used to be defined as `below Adminlevel 4', but nowadays is probably regulated by certain high-level Admin rights.

Local 'Staff Guilds'
staffguilds=comma seperated list of guild names

Matches to these Guild names appear in the `Staff' section of the playerlist.

`Bush' Items
bushitems=true/false

Selects whether Bushes contain Items. May not work on a GMap.

`Baddy' Items
baddyitems=true/false

Selects whether baddies drop Items once killed.

`Healing' Swords
healswords=true/false

Selects whether is possible to have a negative Sword power and thus add Hearts to those hit by the sword.

Non-script timeouts
respawntime=number
horselifetime=number
baddyrespawntime=number

Timeout in seconds for respawn times for Bushes, Horses and Baddies

Server Scripting Flags
dontaddserverflags=true/false

Selects whether scripts can add new Server flags or only modify existing ones.

Server Maps
bigmap=maptext,mapimage,defaultx,defaulty
minimap=maptext,mapimage,defaultx,defaulty

Default serverwide Maps. Syntax resembles setmap and setminimap GScript commands.

Warping (All Players)
warptoforall=true/false
warptoforlowadmins=true/false

Whether all Players can use the Warpto command, and whether Global Admin level 1 allows warpto.

Warping Activation
warpto=false/true
ignorewarpto=true/false

Allows or disallows the default Warpto command for all staff, including Globals. This is normally enabled.

Note that warpto=false will show a "(warping is disabled)" error message to Player, whereas ignorewarpto=true will treat Warpto commands as just normal chat text and display no error message.

The latter is good for replacing the default Warpto command with a scripted version.

Ghost Mode
ghostmodeenabled=true/false
ghostmodefornotstaff=true/false

Selects whether all Players appear as Ghost, or only non-staff players, or nobody.

Playerlist Icons
playerlisticons=comma seperated list of statusses

Possible status list, Players can select one of them in the Players list. There must be a Downloadable file plisticonNAME.png available in a folder specified as `file' in Folder configuration.

Profile Variables
profilevars=comma seperated list of profile variables

Selects what is to be displayed in a Player's profile. The default variables are: playerkills, playerdeaths, playerfullhearts, playerrating, playerap, playerrupees, playerswordpower, canspin, largely modelled after Old GScript. Custom string variables can be added in the format `name=stringname'. If name is not specified, stringname is used.

Trial Account Limits
limitfreeplayers2=true/false

Selects whether to disable adding of Bombs, Arrows, and Explosions for Trial accounts.

AP System Activation
apsystem=true/false

Whether the AP system is enabled. If yes, there are some restrictions for Players with low AP regarding hearts.

Starting AP
startap=number

How much AP Players are given upon first login to this Playerworld.

Global Guilds Activation
globalguilds=true/false

Allows or disallows Guild from the Global database. This is normally enabled.

allowedglobalguilds=guild,guild,guild

This option limits what guilds can be used from the Global Guilds database. (Note: globalguilds= needs to be set to false so other guilds besides the allowed can not be used.

AP Timeouts
aptime0=number
aptime1=number
aptime2=number
aptime3=number
aptime4=number

Time (in seconds) it takes to recharge one point of AP when the AP is currently below 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 respectively. The defaults are 30, 90, 300, 600 and 1200.

Heart/Sword Limits
heartlimit=number
swordlimit=number

The maximum amount of fullhearts and swordpower that is allowed.

'putnpc' Scripting Command
putnpcenabled=true/false

Whether the putnpc command is enabled. (Mostly Deprecated)

Language Selection
translatedlanguages=comma seperated list of language domains, like de,...

The languages of which a translation file shall be loaded by the server. If a file exists, signs and _() text will be replaced with values from the translation file for this language. See Graal v5 release notes for more.

Server Language
serverlanguage=language domain

The default language of the Playerworld. Defaults to English.

Default Language
defaultlanguage=language domain

The default language of the Playerworld. Defaults to English. Players see text in this language if their language is not in translatedlanguages.

NPC-Server 'Sleep'
sleepwhennoplayers=true/false

Whether the NPC Server must execute scripts even when no Player is around.

Tilesets
newtilesets=true/false
newtilesetlevels=comma seperated list of levels

Whether all levels will use the new tileset layout, or a match list of levels that shall. This will influence collision behavior (onwall script function, serverside projectile hit detection, etc.) on server-side only.

You can specify just the start of the level name if you want to include a lot of levels at once (newtilesetlevels=myquest will switch on new tileset onwall behavior on server-side for myquest1.nw, myquest2.nw etc.).

Staff
staff=comma separated list of account names or community names

The Accounts in this list will count as Playerworld staff as if their admin level was > 0. Their mass messages override the option to ignore mass messages, their Admin rights will be applied, and if their IP address range matches their actual IP address, they may log in to RC. The ip-range will automatically be set to match their current ip / computer id once they login for the first time.

GMAP List
gmaps=comma seperated list of gmap files, without .gmap extension

The server will attempt to load these as GMaps. As this line might get rather crowded, it is possible to have multiple gmaps= lines.

Weapon Order
weaponorder=comma seperated list of weapon names

Specifies the order in which the NPC weapon scripts will be sent to the client upon connection. This can be used to ensure that the inventory script that disables the Q menu will be sent first, for example. First, all weapons in this list will be sent in order, then all unlisted weapons.

NPC-Control Rights
npcrights=true/false

Whether NC rights are active. For security reasons, it is strongly recommended to set this to true.

Kill Count
dontchangekills=true/false

Selects whether the variables 'playerkills' and 'playerdeaths' can be changed serverside via GScript.

NPC-Server Nickname
nickname=string

The NPC Server will use this as its Nick name, with (Server) appended. Ignores all Guild tags.

Speedhack Tolerance
speedhacktolerance=number

This gives the percentage of data packages that clients may send above the expected over without being logged as Trainer users. On Graal Kingdoms, the rather conservative setting of 90 is used. If you set this too low, your server will crash.

Idle Disconnect
disconnectifnotmoved=true/false

Selects whether Idle Players are automatically disconnected. (Possibly deprecated).

Save Levels
savelevels=true/false

Setting this to true allows changes to the Tiles of Levels to be saved to the actual level files from scripting commands, so it is possible to persistently change the levels.

savelevelsmessage=true/false

Specifies if saving of levels should be reported on the RC chat (by default enabled).

Only Staff
onlystaff=false

Log script function calls
scriptlogfunctions=write player.nick,write player.guild,call sendtonc,call sendtorc

This lets the npcserver log script activity into logs/scriptfunctionslog.txt. You
can get a list of available functons / actions by typing /listscriptlogfunctions
on RC chat. Currently only important or exploitable things can be logged. Keep care
to delete the logs from time to time.

Log script errors to file
logscripterrorstofile=true/false

When enabled, all script errors (e.g. missing server-side script functions) will be logged into logs/scripterrors.txt instead of RC chat.

Level Auto-Save
levelsautosave=true/false
Whether or not updateboard2 changes are saved to the level file automatically (by default true). Works only if 'savelevels' is enabled as well.

Sending Player Attributes
sendtoallattr=comma seperated list of attribute numbers
Specifies which player attributes (#P/player.attr[]) are to be sent to all players on the server (instead of only to people who see you).
*Set the server options sendtoallattr=1,2,3 for sending attributes 1, 2 and 3 to all players.
*When #P1/attr[1] is changing then it is also invoking the event onPlayerChanges(player,id) like when the head is changing.

Optimized NPC Storage
newnpcstorage=true/false
Whether or not to use the optimized storage for NPCs placed via putnpc2.
If this option is set, NPCs with this.savelocally = true; will use the optimized NPC storage. This is recommended for NPCs that do not need to be loaded when the server is started up or do not need to be sitting in memory all of the time.

DBNPCs Protection
protectdbnpcs=true/false
Whether or not NPCs displayed in the NPC list in RC should be protected from being destroy()ed. Default is "true". This option has been added because they were previously not protected and some servers might prefer to be able to destroy them by script. This option doesn't affect NPCs created with the script command putnpc2() which are are still destroy()able.

Send NPC output to RCs
sendechotorc=true/false
Sends output of NPCs (echo() command) to everyone instead of only to people with NPC rights.

SQLite Databases
database=dbname,dbfile[,dbname2,dbfile2[,etc.]]
Allows several SQLite database files to be opened or closed with specified names and filenames for use the the requestsql2 function.
Source: http://forums.graalonline.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1557272&postcount=17

Player Syncing
syncdistancex=number
syncdistancey=number
syncbydistanceinside=true/false
Define the radius (in tiles) at which players are synced to the screen. This is used for GMAPs to reduce players from being drawn outside of the specified radius. By default, it is being drawn at 192x192.

Default Logging
disablegralatlog=true/false
Toggles whether or not the default gralat log will be used when a player picks up a gralat on the server.

Player Z Axis
lockplayerz=true/false
Disables player's z-axis on the server. Locks player.z to undefined and does not allow any type of alteration. Any value of z outside of |-50, 170| is considered undefined.

Hideplayer
nohidewithoutbush=true/false
Script command hideplayer(float) will no longer be working unless the player is under a bush.

Player Triggers
sendplayertriggers=true/false
Prevents triggeraction from triggering other players. By default on server triggers and mouse clicks, they are being processed by the server first, otherwise being processed by the player.

Item Drops
bushitemtypes=list
deathitemtypes=list
Examples for list are (greenrupee,bluerupee,goldrupee,darts,bombs,heart,etc).
These will define which items will be dropped from the specified event.
itemdropevents=true/false
When itemdropevents is enabled, each time an item is dropped (like heart, goldrupee, etc) it will send the event to Control-NPC as onItemDrop(level,x,y,itemname).

Item Spawn Percentages
spawnrategreenrupee=number
spawnratebluerupee=number
spawnrategoldrupee=number
spawnrateheart=number
spawnratebombs=number
spawnratedarts=number
spawnrate...=number
The value of these options are from 0 to 100, being a percentage at which the specified item will drop from a bush or death.

Horses
puthorseenabled=true/false
This option allows or pevents script command puthorse() from being executed on the server.

RC Mass PM
rcofftagoverridesignore=true/false
this option allows or prevents RC-Masses to override "ignore masses" when the Admin sending the Mass from RC is off-Staff Tag

Putbomb Filter
putbombenabled=true/false
bomballowedtypes=all or comma separated text of bomb power (e.g. 1,2,3)
bombfilterlog=true/false - logs to logs/bombfilter.txt

Showimg/Ani Filter
showimgstypes=all or ani,img,text
showimgsallowedganis=all or comma separated ganis (e.g. idle,walk,sit)
showimgsallowedimages=all or comma separated images (e.g. block.png,block2.png)
showimgsfilterlog=true - logs to logs/showimgsfilter.txt

This is the Graal Online Era Staff Guide! Whether you're a new staff member or you're a member of the Era community this guide should give you good insight into how our team works, makes decisions, and the ethics that guide our overall server
<center>  The most boring part z.z  </center>

Whether you're reading this document because you've just been recruited to the team or you're just interested in the way era works behind the scenes, this list is good to memorise.

This is a list of the rules that staff members of Graal Online Era are expected to uphold. Staff that do not abide by the rules can sometimes be fired depending on the severity of the rule breach.

Some feel that elements of the list are superfluous (that is, unnecessary). We feel that every rule in the list is there for a reason. Graal Online Era is a commercial MMORPG, as such we need to enforce a set of rules for both players and staff to ensure that we are acting both within the law and fairly. Of course there are going to be staff members and players who feel that we do neither in some situations, but those situations are few and far between. That being said:

Rule One: Never disclose staff real-names, ages, ethnicity, sexual orientation etc. to the player-base. This is private information.

Explanation: The reason we have this rule is because we believe that staff members have a right to their own personal privacy. No-one has a right to tell someone your personal business. This is also a right we extend to the players.

Rule Two: What is said on RC, stays on RC. Players don't need to know what happens between staff. This should include background on staff hirings, firings, player warning/jails, investigations, etc. This is confidential and privileged information, treat it as such.

Explanation: Just as crazy things happen in Vegas, crazy things happen in Era too! “RC” means “Remote Control”, think of a kind of chat room with a lot of buttons that do things to Era. RC is where all of the “server-side” action happens. We like to try and make sure that RC chat and goings-on remains exclusive to staff members. Players don't need to know what happens on a daily basis. It's actually quite boring.

Rule Three: Keep it mature. Maturity is the cornerstone of on which we build our staff team. Even though you are a volunteer for a game that is frequently played by children- and may even be a child yourself- we will not tolerate immaturity.

Explanation: Graal Era is a commercial game but it is run by volunteers, that being said we have to keep in mind that we have a specific demographic of players. The game is aimed at young people, as such we have the ensure that we present ourselves in a clean, friendly, and professional manner. From a staff perspective it can be hard to work with someone who's being silly all the time – our staff team is made up of people from all backgrounds and ages, some of them don't have the patience to tolerate children who are crazy all the time.

Rule Four: Uploading is required for PR staff.

Explanation: We get hundreds and hundreds of uploads a day, all of those uploads sit in a queue until a PR Team member can handle them. It's a lot of work!

Rule Five: Do not jail without the appropriate warnings. Make sure to do it 'by the book', look down at the jailing/ban section of this guide.

Explanation: We've had issues with staff members jailing people carelessly. It causes headaches because we have an inefficient jailing system.

Rule Six: Do not overuse your gag, staff stick or freeze, this is considered abuse. We check staff logs all the time.

Explanation: The basic staff tools are gag, staff stick, and freeze. These can be easily abused by irate staff to quiet a player who is annoying them. Even if a player is harassing you it is not acceptable to use these tools in a malicious way. Every action you take with a staff tool is logged! Remember: 2+2=5! (1984 Joke, Big Brother is watching you)

Rule Seven: Only drop EC if you are conducting an event. If you have any questions about dropping EC, ask a PRA or a Senior Player Relations staff member. You should never give anything away or transfer items without approval, even if they're just small quantities of food.

Explanation: EC is only to be given in events, and SPR/PRA approved activities (i.e. the occasional EC Hide & Seek). Quite an obvious rule.

Rule Eight: If you are unsure about what to do in a certain situation, ask someone. You're not doing your job alone. You are part of a team.

Explanation: Asking for help is a requirement! If you don't know what to do and you go by gut instinct the chances are you're going to make a mess of things. You're only one link in the chain of Era. Era only runs effectively if we're all working together.

Rule Nine: If you have issues with another staff member, raise that issue to a senior staff member of your department and it will be discussed and dealt with.

Explanation: We don't need Bold & the Beautiful dramas occurring in the team. If you're having a bad time working with someone in the team, or someone just rubs you the wrong way, approach your boss. That's what they're there for.

Rule Ten: Mind what you say around players, many are children. They can be impressionable. We are responsible for their fun and we are staff, we cannot swear or say anything irresponsible. I cannot stress this point enough.

Explanation: A common sense rule. We have to enforce the rules, as such we cannot break them.

Rule Eleven: We do not deal or monitor item trades between players.

Explanation: Apart from the occasional glitch that affects trading mechanics we're not going to try and solve a problem that comes from bad decision making. Remember to always check that you're trading the correct item for an item that you really want. There are no do-overs in trading.

Rule Twelve: Don't give out naked pictures, ask for naked pictures, or make reference to naked pictures. Common sense.

Explanation: Common sense!

Rule Thirteen: No bad mouthing about other Graal staffs or other servers on RC, client, or Era-Go. Respect others and their work.

Explanation: Yeah, everyone knows that person that works on that server that gets on everyone's bad side but we don't need to bring it up and stir the pot. Nothing is gained from causing inter-server drama.

Rule Fourteen: Copyright. Please make sure the resources that you use do not come from a different intellectual property. As Graal is a commercial game run by a legitimate business if we use stuff from other games we're breaking the law.

Explanation: As Graal Era is a legitimate MMO we cannot use copyrighted assets. It's theft. If you know about a copyrighted asset that we've missed please tell us. This rule extends to all assets, no matter how long they've been in the server. They don't just magically become our property.

Rule Fifteen: Please get permission from the manager if you want or require player-input for your project development. Leaking is a major concern when developing new content. For this reason please do not link projects under construction to the main gmap or summon players to unreleased areas or areas currently under construction.

Explanation: We want our updates to be a surprise, as such we can't have staff summoning their friends, girlfriends/boyfriends, and gang-mates to unreleased areas. It's not fair on everyone else. This extends to all staff.

Rule Sixteen: Don't share your account. This includes your staff account *and* your iOS account.

Explanation: A staff account is personal. It gives you access to the server from a computer. You use the account to access RC. Sharing your staff account is an instant firing. This extends to the staff member's iOS account as well. Account sharing is also banned for players.

Added rules:

These are rules that have been added over time that we haven't included as numbered because of various reasons.

Please do not immediately warn/jail players if they are on walls or unreleased areas or inaccessible, they might have either been warped, glitched, or have lagged there.
However, if this occurs more than once, it is a possible chance they are hacking.

Please do not drag players onto buildings, and leave them there. Do not assist players by dragging them into places they are not suppose to have access to.

Do not tell players of things in development, unless it is already released.

Do not give out free items to players unless authorised by a higher ranking staff member.

Do not add money/items to yourselves to get personal items. Ask your department admin if you need something (mainly concerns developers and scripters).

Do not abuse your staff tag.

Do not base while on your staff PC account.

Do not be rude. Acting like you are superior to players is NOT professional. Please treat players with respect.

Do not delete gangs unless they are either Racist/Vulgar/Harassment/ etc. Try to rename them first.

You are not to give hat refunds or any refunds for that matter. Nobody is allowed to mess with the Gralat system except for high ranking staff.

Do not attempt to trade/sell in game items for real life money or vice versa. This applies to any type of currency. i.e. iTunes cards. These rules apply not only to staff members, but players as well. This will result in firing as well as a global ban of the person responsible being a staff member, and a banning of the player(s) responsible.

When setting statues do not glorify a player. This encourages scamming. Do not say "Duderbrah is totally legit!” This encourages scamming.

Hats. If you have your own personal hat you wish to give to players, this should only be done during a hosted regular event and in lieu of an event coin - the winning player must choose one or the other. This is the only circumstance during which you should ever give away your personal hat - not to friends or to anyone making customs, items, etc.

Items. When you are hired you will receive a set amount of Gralats (money) on your staff account and your choice of 1 ec item up to 100 value as part of new staff set-up. While it may be tempting to want and ask for all sorts of cool items, please note that your primary staff duty is your main responsibility versus playing with items. After you have successfully been in your role for a couple of weeks, you may ask for an additional item to be added to your staff account. To have items added, please speak to your department Admin (non PR), PRA or SPR for PR staff and jeni can also assist.

Personal Customs. You can upload personal heads, bodies, hats to the server for use on your staff account. If you need assistance with the appropriate folder location, please ask a member of high staff. These items can be added with the /npcaddhead, /npcaddbody, /npcaddhat commands. You should NEVER add any item, custom, etc. to your personal ios account. If you have any questions on this, please ask a member of high staff.

Boosting Spar Stats. We do not allow spar stats boosting.
If you catch someone boosting their spar stats please contact a PRA/SPR and have them check out that person.

Every staff member has to pull their weight. Running an MMO isn't an easy task, as such we hire a lot of volunteers to do various things. Whether you're a PR or a member of the Levels Administration Team, you have to put the effort in.

Always wear your staff when you are doing something staff related.

If you are a PR you are expected to:

Investigate reports: You must look into reports and help resolve issues. This may require initiating a sit-down between two players to resolve an in-game dispute or it may involve banning Mog who's made a new account.

Whenever you find a player who's up to no good, you use the warning tool to take action. You right click a player and select Warn Player from the staff drop-down list. You will
then have to select a reason for warning, which is shown here. After selection a reason you must describe the event.Players are jailed after receiving multiple warnings.

After you have finished a report please make sure to clear it from the reports tool!

Note: in the event that you see something very serious, e.g. a paedophile or a hacker, please log what you see (text from their attributes or screenshots etc) before jailing.

Handle Feedback: This is as easy as just looking at the feedback tab in RC and responding to the players. Easy!
Handle Uploads: This is a more complex task- we will touch on this shortly.
Host Events: If you're staff you can host events!. It can be a complex task, see other staff for more details.

Remember to actually log-on to the server and do your job. We understand that you have a real-life, but we need your help! That's why we recruited you. If you feel you're going to have a period of inactivity please tell your boss so we can sort things out.

If you can not perform your duty without annoying others, if you are the source of drama, you will be removed. This is true of all staff, we have no room for people who can't do their work without inciting problems.

While doing your job (and this is particularly true for members of the PR team) you may be inundated with spam and harassment. This is a part of the job. It happens. All the time. To everyone. The best method of handling it is to just ignore them and move on. If you are particularly concerned inform your boss or a more senior staff member.

When getting asked to transfer accounts please tell them to read through the account and identify guide in the guide in the main menu (red book). Instruct them to open a ticket on the support site. The support site is support.toonslab.com. We do not transfer identified accounts to other identified accounts ever. There have been many attempts to scam accounts that way. Stay alert!

If you are a PR member you are expected to handle uploads!

Here is a list of general illegal upload elements:

Any custom staff head is not permitted for use by players.

Any images that may be deemed racist or offensive against player(s) or real life individuals.

No translucent, invisible, or small heads and bodies.

No heads or bodies that only show outlines.

No images which may disturb game play such as flashing shields, gore, violent-glowing shields, or
shields that cover more than ½ of the player.

No flashing images, this also means no blinking hats.

No customs which have different colors in different frames.

Do not upload customs which are significantly larger or smaller than the templates.

No customs which make you appear invisible on certain grounds (such as grass-looking bodies/heads).

No images that are pictures of real life people or real life, this includes pets and photos.

No customs that are copyrighted such as Pokemon heads/bodies.

If we sell a bow, bandana, etc. in a game shop, these will not be approved on custom heads.

We do allow customs with a weapon provided it is NOT a weapon that is sold in Era.

<center>

Section Three -- Staff List

</center>

Graal Era sometimes goes through quite a lot of changes in the staff list. Here is a current list!

The list goes top-down in terms of authority (e.g. the person at the top has the highest rank on the server, note that the actual structure is divided in job positions, not individual authority).

The Management

The Owner: Unixmad. The Owner of Graal Online.

The Manager: snk. The Manager of Graal Online Era.

“Management” Admins:

PRAs: Kane (US), Nyx (US, Canada), Ser (Europe), Reno (Australia/Asia)

Development Admin: Storm Myste

Communication Admin: Jeni

The Departments

Development Departments:

LAT: The LAT department is in charge of developing the levels in Graal Era. They work together with the other development departments to create Era's world.
GFX: The GFX (or “GAT”) department is in charge of creating the images used in Graal Era.
SFX: The SFX department is in charge of creating the sounds effects and music in Graal Era.
NAT: The NAT (or “Scripting”) department is in charge of creating the scripts (code) that is processed by the Graal Engine. These scripts essentially breath life into the world. The entirety of Graal Era is controlled by script!
Developer: The “Developer” is someone who is multi-talented. They take on tasks from other departments.
Gun Administrator: They handle the creation and balancing of Era's weapons.
VIP Designer: These staff members are responsible for the development of the monthly VIP items.

Player Relations:

PR: The PR team is the backbone of Graal Era's customer support. They handle all player issues – issues ranging from reports, feedback and uploads etc.
SPR: The SPR team is a group of highly trained PR's that have more authority than a regular PR team member.

Communications Team:

Communications Support: These staff members handle e-mail support.
Era-Go Webmaster: The Webmaster of Era-Go.
Forum Moderators: They ensure that Era-Go remains a friendly and safe place for its users.
Newspaper Team: These staff members process potential submissions for the in-game Era newspaper.

Other Staff:

Gang Administrator: This staff member is responsible for handling gang rewards and handles feedback/issue reports from gangs.

 created by 'wilikas', aka 'Reno Dorvay'.

<center>
<sub>
This document details Remote Control 3. The guide is also compatible (for the most part) with older versions of the Remote Control. The RC shown in this guide is the RC of “Era-Go Sandbox”. The images displayed have been censored where appropriate. This guide assumes that you have access to a server's Remote Control.
</sub>
</center>

</center>

Why should I care about the “Remote Control”?

Remote Control is the name of the software that is used to Control Graalonline servers. Think of it like a command centre that is part chat-room and part Control-panel. The Remote Control is used to:

Manage files using the built in file manager
Manage staff access and server options
Collate information (through different RC tabs and comments pages)
Create and execute scripts.

We'll go through all of these things except the last point, “create and execute scripts”, as that could take a whole guide by itself, maybe even a whole book.

How do I get the “Remote Control”?

There are 2 ways to obtain the Remote Control. One is by using the Graalclient to obtain the official Cyberjouers hosted Remote Control software, the other is by using a link that contains an official beta of an upcoming release. Let's start with the first method.

Official Graal Client RC.

1. Download and install the official Graalonline Client.

2. Create a PC Graalonline account and log-into the game using your login information.

3. On the bottom left of the guide you will see a 'Start' button. Click that.

4. Click the option that says 'Install Packages' and then choose the option that's best for you.

5. The Remote Control software will download into your Graal folder. Run the exe and then enter your login information into the relevant fields. Note: Use your Graal ID (i.e. Graal378278) instead of your e-mail address as using the e-mail address can cause issues with the RC server-list.

6. Double click the name of the server you have access to.

7. Congratulations you have access to RC!

RC Beta Link

1. Download the file hosted on http://fp4.ca/windows_rc3_beta.zip

2. Extract it to a folder

3. Login with your Graal details. Note: Use your Graal ID (i.e. Graal378278) instead of your e-mail address as using the e-mail address can cause issues with the RC server-list.

4. Double click the name of the server you have access to.

5. Congratulations you have access to RC!

Part Two: Getting Your Hands Dirty

</center>

Let's analyse the RC.

Let's go through this image one point at a time.

1. This is the playerlist.

This feature of the RC lists all the online players in your server, their account names (censored for this guide) and the level they are in. You can use this feature to message the entire server as both a player (Mass PM) and as staff (Admin Message). These message features are not enabled on every server, so make sure to find out if your server supports them. You can PM a persons RC to deliver an “RC PM”.

2. This is the 'Account List', not many people have access to this, so we will skip this.

3. To Alls: A place to see sent to all messages. Really self-explanatory.

4. The Options menu. This menu is where
you can alter some of your RC options. It's
important that you know how to use these
options effectively. Some optoins are self
-explanatory and some options are complicated.
The important ones are “Log RC Chat”, which
should be enabled if you're on a popular server,
and the Nickname: option, as well as the download
folder option.

5. The Server Flags option is for advanced users, who Control a server. This is beyond the scope of this guide.

6. Folderconfig. This stores the servers folder configuration. Again, beyond the scope of this guide.

7. Server Options. This is complicated, out of the scope of this guide. Essentially it is a list of options settings for the server.

8. Local NPCs: Outdated (I think)

9, 10, 11: These are “Classes”, “Weapons”, and “NPCs”. These are all used for scripting. Way beyond the scope of this guide.

12: This is an RC tab. Think of it as a window. You can have multiple RC tabs.

13: Text Display: Text and dialogue from other staff is displayed in the chat window area.

14: Chatbar: This is where you type, when you've finished typing press enter. You can chat here, or enter commands. If you want to see a list of available commands for your RC enter /help into the Chatbar and press enter. Some commands might not be listed, ask your Admin for more information.

15. File Browser: The file browser is the most important part for the development team. It is where the team downloads/uploads files to create the games world. Folder rights are a staff right so they can be given and taken away. You can only work within your own personal project scope.

That's it for the RC Guide, I hope you found it informative.
Mac OS X is an operating system created by Apple. The Graal client is currently provided in a PPC binary for use on pre-Intel Macs. Most Apple computers today use Intel processors, and therefore Rosetta emulation is required to run Graal v5, severely hurting performance.
The v6 beta (but, officially, "stable") Graal version is distributed in a universal binary which supports 32-bit and 64-bit Intel processors, as well as older PPC computers.

The Zormites are a unique fish race which is deeply embedded within Graal's history. They are a nation of xenophobic bipedal species whom wish to gain better understanding of the world while at the same time flouting their superiority over the "land walkers".

The Zormite Empire
Biology
The Zormite Empire is composed of fairly diverse species of the ocean. They are linked by one common trait - the ability to live underwater for long durations of time.

Zormite
The Zormites are bipedal life forms on the Graalian planet who, for the most part, dwell underwater or in very humid conditions. They have two arms which has a claw on each arm. Unlike the land walkers of the surface the Zormites only hold four fingers as opposed to five (they have three forefingers and a thumb). Zormites range in height from 5' to 7' with an average weight of 280lbs for males and 230lbs for females. The diet of a Zormite is a unique menu of items ranging from seed weed to fish and even some land creatures found on the surface. The species has a shorter life span then other creatures, an average Zormite will only last roughly forty years.

The Zormites have a reproduction cycle not seen in the surface dwellers. The females of the Zormites will lay six to eight eggs each in a single hatchery in which the Zormite males will fertilize the eggs. Through this system there is no such thing as royal blood lines - all Zormite hatchlings are created the same without bearing on genetics and the other Zormites adopt these hatchlings as their own. There are few cases of hatchlings not being adopted (any hatchling not adopted enters the military service at birth where he/she will train at a young age). Hatcheries are usually divided amongst the various tribes of Zormite. The Zaeri Tribe Hatchery is a distant area from the Zorbi hatchery.

A Zormite's skin color can vary from Zormite to Zormite. Some are black, some are red, some are pink. The most common Zormite skin tone is an aqua blue. Zormite's vocal organs restrict them from making the S sound in Common... instead it sounds more like a Z sound.

Sahuagin
The Sahuagin are very similar to their Zormite brothers. However they possess attributes only found in the Sahuagin tribe. The Sahuagins are always green, there has never been an exception for this rule. They also hold the strength of three Zormites in one.

The average weight of a Sahuagin is 320lbs for males and 210lbs for females. Their average lifespan is roughly thirty years with their religious disdain for medical technology

Daulites
The Daulites are a fairly new race to surface to existence. They are a bipedal species of fish with a grayish tone to their skin. They are believed to have emerged from the sea when the meteorite clouded the ocean floor.

The Daulites differ from the Zormites in the fact that they are able to live on the surface for an indefinite time. When they swim for long durations of time then they must reach the top of the water to take air in from a hole in their head.

A Daulite is normally 5' tall, there has never been one recorded taller then 5'5". With their small stature they also have little weight. The average male scales about 110lbs and a female normally weighs about 90lbs.

The Daulites are very different from the Zormites and Sahuagin, however they were similar enough to be inducted into the Empire.

Orcarne
The Orcarne are large creatures hailing from the frigid waters of the north beyond the Antora Mountain. There are few in existence.

Orcarnes live for a long period of time. Their life span is roughly one hundred and fifty years. The average weight of an Orcarne male is 520lbs and 560lbs for a female. An Orcarne diet consists of all vegetarian supplements such as seed weed and various roots.

Orcarnes also hold a special trait that allows them to never forget anything that occurs in their lifetime. This forges them into the wise grandfather persona, the all knowing beings who know from their experiences and not from the books of the world.

History
The History of the Empire is bleak at best. In the beginning there were only the various tribes, warring over the best hunting areas and the best waterfalls. For the most part these tribes were nomadic. They travelled from island to island in search of anything they could find. War was commonplace until the Empire was established.

This is the history of the Zormite Empire which was forged nearly seven hundred and fifty years ago.

Emperors
Saint Zoron the Blessed
Saint Zoron is considered to be the first Zormite Emperor. He united the various Zormite and Sahuagin tribes. The wars ended and they became one entity... an Empire. Saint Zoron threw his spear into the waters of the Antora River and it struck a small island. He claimed the land for the Zormites and told the tribes to dig underneath the island - they were to build a grand castle there. So the lands grew under the influence of the Zormites.

Then Zoron wrote the laws of the land in the sand that his spear has struck. They were proclaimed and the Empire adapted to them. The government was formed.

Zoron set forth and made many alliances with the meager land walker nations and established trade routes with them. Life was good in the Empire. Emperor Zoron the Blessed died a peaceful death.

Emperor Zoximus the Steadfast
With the death of the Saint Zoron the Sahuagin became restless once again. They raided within the Empire's borders. Emperor Zoximus was coronated with this overt revolt from the Sahuagin. He dismissed the raids however, instead he diverted the people's attentions by fighting the Surface Wars with the various human nations. He emerged victorious and the Sahuagin declared peace with the show of force with the humans. Using this to his advantage he set forth to better the relations of all tribes by taking out the Kraken scourges. Emperor Zoximus led an expedition to kill the Krakens of the south and of the east. He also took the Kraken of the north as a pet. That Kraken still lives today and is tied to the Emperor(s) to do their biddings.

Emperor Zoximus the Steadfast died from a Sahuagin assassin group who disliked the Zormite-Sahuagin peace.

Emperor Zerryne the Iron Fist
History now shows us that it was Emperor Zerryne the Iron Fist which orchestrated the Sahuagin Uprising that killed the late Emperor Zoximus. To create a common enemy for the Zormite people he declared war on the Sahuagin by setting loose the Kraken of the North which annihilated upwards to three-forths of the Sahuagin. Emperor Zerryne refined the laws of the land, created a harsh forced labor system, and forged the doctrine of the Empire - all of which are still in use today. Emperor Zerryne the Iron Fist broke many trade agreements and nearly started another surface war with the land walkers. Through all of this he is considered to be the creator of the modern Empire.

Emperor Zerryne the Iron Fist died by the hands of an enraged Zormite slave whom was sentanced to the underwater mines in forced labor.

Emperor Zanre the Enlightened
Emperor Zanre was crowned on a day that the Bomy Moon began to heat the surface. The waters were warm and the castle was busting with energy. Emperor Zanre was a diplomatic leader. He quickly resolved the differences with the Sahuagins. He disbanded a large portion of the Zormite Military and reestablished ties to the surface world. He also made the Empire more secular, pulling away from its attitude of doing things for the gods and more for doing things for the Empire.

The Tylarrian Orb was given to him as a peace offering from the Santerrian Kingdom. The Tylarrian Orb now resides with the council of Elders.

Emperor Zanre the Enlightened died of old age.

Emperor Zunthor the Great
Emperor Zunthor the Great's first action was to declare war on Dustari. This resulted in the Seventeen Years War which ultimately was a Zormite victory. The landwalker settlements near the Zormite border were removed and pushed back and the Sahuagin border became more civilized. He assimiliated most of the Sahuagin population into the Empire. Today the Sahuagin are not a seperate government but instead pledge themselves to the Emperor.

Emperor Zunthor the Great died of old age.

Emperor Zornine the Young
Times grew tough for the Zormite Empire. Resources were running low, food was coming in short supply, and the land walker nations began to advance and grow. Ergo first action Emperor Zornine the Young did was register all Sahuagin and put the majority of them in underwater mines and other locations of forced labor. There was no cause for this other then to better the Empire for the Zormites and not their Sahuagin brothers. The army grew large in numbers as the Sahuagin began to rebel across the nation. Every revolt was quelled by the Zormite military until the coming of Rygonark the Fearless in the playing field. Rygonark united many Sahuagin slaves to his army and he killed the various task masters of guard unit assigned to his mine. From there he set forth to attack mine after mine to raise his army. Emperor Zornine left the Zormite castle to his newly formed Council of Elders and set forth to defeat the Sahuagin General. The Empire saw victory against the Sahuagin slaves, however the Emperor met an untimely death.

Emperor Hiryuu the Quick
In the absence of an Emperor and in the middle of a civil war Dustari decided to declare war on the Zormite Empire as to take advantage of her current situation. The Council of Elders quickly decided to act and install another Emperor to combat the war. They selected a Zormite by the name of Hiryuu to take the leadership role of the empire. However Hiryuu did something not expected by the Empire - he made peace with Dustari and amended relations with them without blood shed. During this time Samurai and Zormite relations skyrocketted and the relations were at an all time high.

Emperor Hiryuu the Quick fled Zormite with a note stating that his intentions were to become a nomad like his forefathers. He was never seen again.

Emperor Zardogan the Wise
Months had passed after Emperor Hiryuu had left the kingdom's throne and the people were in desperate need of a new Emperor. The Sahuagins were beginning to form mass armies and began to throw their weight around with fortified Zormite positions, if nothing was to be done, war would once again terrorize the empire. Then finally the Zormite known as Zardogan appeared and took the throne. Selected unamiously by the Senate he took to the situations at hand. To the dismay of many and happiness of the masses, he declared the Sahuagins free from Zormite rule and gave them their rights back and let them free, or become part of the kingdom. Many believed his opinion was swayed by that of a close a guard, a Sahuagin Grappler known as Zappa. Shortly after the freedom granted to the Sahuagin Zardogan placed Zappa, General of the Zormite Army. Border skirmishes once again began to break out between the kingdoms of Dustari. Emperor Zardogan, continued tradition with having great ties with the Samurai and brought the Zormites into the battle with his Zormites. The borders that had been lost to Dustari were soon regained and the battles ended. Several months later after rumors of Dustari Assassins sneaking past Zormite borders, the Senate began to worry about the well-being of Zardogan and the fact the Dustari may be out for him. Emperor Zardogan told the senate to fear not, and that what he was here for had been accomplished. Three days later Zardogan was found dead in his bed. Although Zardogans fate had been sealed he had in fact faked his death and journeyed down to Santerrain to live a more peaceful life, as a farmer. He died of old age.

Emperor Zarnage the Pillager
After the "death"? of Zardogan… Zarnage gained control of the throne; he was the first bomy emperor. Exploiting his citizen’s good will and racial tensions he began several raids on the human nations. This raised the morale of his soldiers, but it made the international community dislike him. He died of old age without announcing his heir to the throne.

Emperor Zoad the Defeated
After Zarnage died, the High Council held a meeting to discuss whom should be the next emperor. They then appointed Zoad the next Emperor of the empire. During this time the land-walker kingdom known as Dustari was quickly gaining power and sought the rich resources of the Zormite Empire. Dustari conquered the Zormite Empire during this time and Zoad fled. The Dustarians held a firm grip on the Zormite Empire, but remarkably the Empire was allowed to retain their culture and government as long as their loyalty was with the Dustari crown.

Emperor Zyko the Revolutionary
Zyko came to power and one of the most immediate things he performed was to revolt against Dustari, this revolution of the Zormites failed and much blood was spilt. In the end the Zormite Empire lost another war against Dustari. Emperor Zyko was allowed to keep his position as the regent of the Zormite Empire as long as there was a Dustarian advisor. Zyko’s subjects became unruly stating that “No Emperor of the Empire should bend to the will of a land walker?. To get his citizens off the subject he began campaigns against a Zormite tribe to the North East named the Zaeri. The Zaeri Tribe was a nomadic Zormite tribe. The Zaeri began to engage the Zormites after seven settlements were ravaged by the Zormite Empire.

Emperor Zyko died of old age with Zormites protesting his weakness againgst Dustari.

Emperor Zeetos the Explorer and Emperor Zauis the Overthrown
When Emperor Zeetos and Emperor Zauis came to power it was an unpresidented era of Zormite government: There were two Emperors in power at one time. The Zormite people adored the Emperors as they were two well respected Zormites from the tribe of Zorbi, one of the nobler of the tribe of the empire… but the empire was neglected by the duo crown. The castle began to break apart and the thrones became cold. The Zormite people were left to survive by themselves as the two emperors took extended voyages across the vast seas for exploration. The Emperors did return one day with wonderful news, they found a new land to the south and claimed an island for their own.

Emperor Zeetos and Emperor Zauis were both killed when a sea serpent took them by surprise and sucked them both into a makeshift wirlpool. The Zormite Empire entered a Dark Age. There was no stablility in the leadership of government. Even the council of Elders changed every week.

Emperor Zurkiba the Warmonger
Emperor Zurkiba was a member of the Zaeri Tribe. An oppressed tribe to the north east. However he was unique from other Zaeris, whom were believed to be uncultured and having a severe lack of technology, he had an advanced scientific and warfare mind. He understood that the Zormite Empire was in an era of instability so he took advantage of that. At this time the Dustari troops stationed in the Zormite Empire were pulled back to their own nation due to the events of Ackbar, this meant that there would be no opposition to his invasion.

On an night where there was no sun showing the Zaeri attacked the Zormite Castle. There was little opposition and the Zaeri quickly took the castle. Zurkiba then invited the various tribal leaders to his castle in which he united them in an unknown way. The Zormite Empire quickly found an awareness of their former being and united once more. Zurkiba's first action was to invade and annex the Bomy Nation to the south. There was no external kingdom to oppose this move. The Empire then quickly took Mount Antora and the settlements around the Bomy Moon.

Zurkiba wanted massive war movements, but the mines around him were ancient and dry. Rummaging through maps he found the claims of the Zormite Empire on an archipelago to the south. He sent colonist to settle the lands of the island. The colonist established the settlement of Kalen and it became very wealthy.

Finding new wealth in resources and money the Zormite Empire declared war on the Kingdom of Santerrain. A quick victory was won over the Samurai nation with the recent formation of the Imperial Guards, an elite faction of the Zormite military. Now the Zormites controlled three forths of the known world, they became the super power of the world and no nation stood in their way.

Emperor Zurkiba died in a Karakaze Troupe ambush when he was visiting the destroyed Samurai castle to discuss vassalship with the Zormite-appointed leader of Samurai.

Emperor Zatts the Just and Emperor Zappa the Brave
Emperor Zatts and Emperor Zappa ascended to the throne with the last wishes of the former Emperor Zurkiba. During this time the world was in panic as the astrologist of Samurai stated that the end of the world would come in the form of a fiery red ball that would crash on the former lands of Dustari. They said that it would destroy all life unless they weren’t there when the ball crashed. The nation of Samurai began their packing to depart for a newly discovered new world, the same for the remnants of the former Dustari Kingdom, and the pirates. The Zormites stood their ground. Some fled to the new world to create a new life while the others stayed home and erected defenses. Emperor Zatts and Emperor Zappa were the organizers of their defensive efforts. They stood from atop of Mt. Antora and watched a massive earthquake destroy their castle... their home, the fireball doing more damage then were expected. They took some of the Zormite survivors into a cavern to see out the rest of the Armageddon.

The two Emperors emerged from their cavern to see a black sky and a black ocean. They returned to the castle to find it in ruins. The Zormite Empire seemed doomed. No Zormite held the knowledge of masonry, much less advanced building techniques. There was no way they could rebuild the majestic castle that was once called the center of the Empire. They cleared some of the rubble and continued to lead the government. They understood that the other nations and races were still behind the Zormites. They rebuilt quickly and went to establish their supremacy over the lands again.

Emperor Zatts was never found, he is presumed dead. Emperor Zappa was killed encircled by an Orcish legion who had intentions on killing the Zormite leadership. Emperor Zappa was impaled by eight arrows through vital organs and muscles but continued his fight. He was able to kill the vast majority of the Orcs but he succumbed to the sheer numbers of the Orcs.
